Some fail to realize the significance of the mind and how much of an impact the mind has when it comes to healing and attaining overall health....🤯😳


👉Start where you are today, and make a commitment to do better, one day at a time. Here's how: 💡💡💡


1) Stop the negative self-talk. 🛑🚫🤫When it starts, acknowledge it and immediately stop it and change the subject. Any healthy distraction of the mind will do! Positive affirmations spoken out loud resonate with the subconscious mind, helping to bring about change. 🧘🏻‍♀️🙈🙉🙊

2) Don't dwell on the past! Let go of the what-if's and try to do better in the future. 🙋‍♂️🚪


3) What others think of you is not your business! Read that again!🤔🧐


4) Let go of things and situations that no longer serve you! 👋👋

5) Try to please everyone and please no-one! You are the master of your vessel! Take that job seriously!⛵


6) Watch your tongue! Even seemingly benign gossip is still gossip and likely to hurt someone's feelings. 👅👀😭


7) Be authentic! Be who you are, no matter who is watching. 🎯


8) Invest in those who invest in you! The world is full of superficial relationships. Be genuine, and sometimes vulnerable.⚖


9) Take a few minutes each day to just relax without distractions, electronics, stimulation of any kind. Practice being present, in the moment, taking in some sunshine, or listening to the sounds of nature. Disconnect! Breathe! Relax!🦋🐝


10) Drink more water! Set a goal to drink half your weight number in ounces of water each day! (Ex: 160 wt= 80 oz water daily = 10 cups). Watch your caffeine intake, as most teas/coffees are diuretics and will actually remove extra fluids from your cells.🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛👈✅


11) Try to eat a healthy diet, limiting sugar, starches, pasta, flour, etc. Sodium is hidden is many convenience foods, and can contribute to high blood pressure and other problems. A diet rich in protein, healthy fats, vegetables, legumes, nuts, seeds, etc is best. Try to incorporate healthier substitutions daily.🥑🍅🥙🥬🍗


12) Get plenty of sleep! Lack of sleep and stress contributes to accumulation of cortisol, which turns into unhealthy fat, and makes it difficult to lose weight. Working out too much can have the same effect. Increased stress= increased cortisol!! 😴🤤


13) Treat yourself to something wonderful every once in a while! Splurge and buy yourself a bouquet of flowers, a MASSAGE, a mani/pedi, or pick up a book you have been wanting to read, etc. These are all healthy rewards that will actually be very impactful, making you feel loved and appreciated, sending healthy signals to your brain, and helping to improve your overall health!!
