Here is a good article (below) about Reiki! If you arent familiar with Reiki, you should check it out. I am actually a Reiki Master....but I have been out of practice for a few years. I still do some very basic work in it though, and always try to adhere to the 5 concepts that it promotes.
I was a vendor at a craft show a couple weeks ago giving free chair massages when a lady said to me "it feels amazing, like you might be incorporating some Reiki into your massage." This made me smile😊...the fact that she knew what it was, and that she felt the energy I tend to give off to others through the gift of touch...sometimes without fully intending to.🙌🙌🙌
Those who are familiar with the teachings of Reiki will tell you its a no-no to perform stealth Reiki on people without their knowledge or permission. And I would never do such a thing intentionally....but....👇👇👇
When you are lying on my table and I begin your massage...the moment I touch your head, my mind automatically is directed to setting my intentions for the massage. Its a mental thing....I basically close my eyes and say a few words to myself such as "help me to be a conduit...to bring health and healing to (name) in the ways he or she needs it the most and help them to have a wonderful and fulfilling experience!"
Now....there is nothing wrong with setting your intentions📣....and if you believe in a source, or even just the power of energy, you can relate and realize how this can have a positive effect on a person in need. Putting it out into the universe is important. It helps to create a synergistic effect and others can feel it in your touch! Similarly, babies and animals can sense your state of mind when you touch them. If you are anxious, your touch will relate that anxiety, whereas if you are calm, your touch will relate that as well, bringing a sense of calm to them.
It's apparent to me, just by the compliments I receive from my clients that they are picking up what I am laying down!!

They can sense that I have a genuine desire to help them overcome whatever obstacles they are facing when they are on my massage table. Whether they have had a rough day at work and just need to relax, or they are having physical pain, or mental anguish, they all seem to benefit from my touch...even just for the hour they spend with me, and hopefully for longer.
I feel very honored and blessed that I can be a part of something so important and amazing. 🥰🥰🥰 I promise not to do stealth Reiki on you....🚫🚫🚫but I will definitely set some good intentions for an amazing experience while you are with me.
